British Airways to provide complimentary fast in-flight internet by way of satellite partnership
Passengers aboard British Airways can soon use high-speed wifi during flights free of charge after a recent deal from SpaceX's satellite firm.

The carrier revealed that this no-cost, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet provision via SpaceX will be offered to passengers in coach, premium economy, or premium cabins from soon.
Broad Deployment Over Several Flight Operators
The parent firm for the airline, the airline group, confirmed it had reached an deal involving SpaceX for providing connectivity services across over 500 aircraft operated by the group's airlines, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.
Smooth Connectivity from Gate through Arrival
British Airways stated that this introduction for this system was included in a multi-billion pound “transformation” program and would offer lag-free wifi service for passengers from the gate through arrival, including when in flight over large bodies of water and far-off locations.
Travelers may link several electronics and they will not need a special login.
