The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary Teaser

Charli XCX is gearing up for a substantial big screen onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

In the film, Charli portrays what she refers to as a dark version of her own persona.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, Charli stated.

She further explained in a conversation: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea originated from the expectation to make one.

A Sneak Peek into The Project

The debut trailer, released on this week, blends real clips from her live performances with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.

The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by the director, who explained that the narrative revolves around a reality where Charli made entirely different choices during the marketing of her smash hit album Brat.
